Reservations are accepted for the Pavilion – party-style seating is available beginning at 5:00 PM. Our buffet will be served from 5:00 to 7:30 PM – so get here early and eat hearty!
Dining space under our Pavilion is limited – seating is for buffet diners only. Lawn seating is open to the public – you are welcome to bring a blanket or a lawn chair. If you forgot yours, no worries rent a chair or blanket from us. The Inn is also open for restaurant seating serving our Country Dinner of Prime Rib of Beef for $17.95. Reservations are accepted for restaurant dining. Join us at the Pavilion after dinner in the Inn for the music and the BEER or just the FUN!
Entertainment: Lisa Ellex
Lisa Ellex’s career includes cabaret, musical theater and voiceover performances, as well as film looping. She spent five years as lead vocalist for The New Viper Jazztet and most recently appeared at New York’s Don’t Tell Mama in Ricky Ritzel’s “Broadway,” portraying Velma in “Chicago,” Saraghina in “Nine” and Aurora in “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” Ellex also created and hosts host the podcast, “It’s Your Thing,” interviewing guests about their occupations.
Lisa has been a working jazz and cabaret vocalist since 1984. I've toured with cabaret acts, stock and original musicals and revues since then as well. In addition to singing with various jazz combos, I have been the female vocalist with the 18-piece big band, RIVERSIDE RHYTHM since October 2017.
Dr. Terry Klinefelter is a versatile artist, at home in jazz clubs as well as the classical concert stage. She has performed at the Kimmel Center, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, the Chadds Ford Winery Jazz Festival, Jazz at the Springs, Endless Mountain Music Festival, and the Arcady Festival (Bar Harbor, Maine).
Known for her lyrical style and beautiful sound, she has also performed on the Philadelphia Orchestra Chamber Music Series (three appearances) and abroad in Mexico (Escuela Superior, Monterrey) and Italy (Rome Festival). She has also collaborated with dance companies, serving as pianist with the Pennsylvania Ballet in the early nineties, and more recently with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (Mozart's "Twinkle" Variations, and Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals).
Dr. Klinefelter is Assistant Professor of Piano and Jazz Studies at West Chester University, where she enjoys helping pianists reach their highest artistic potential. She is in high demand as an adjudicator for area competitions, masterclasses, and festivals. Her own students, both collegiate and private, are a diverse group who have performed in all kinds of settings, including recitals, concerto competitions and masterclasses with Ann Schein and Fred Hersch. Past students have gone on to careers as respected music educators, church musicians, accompanists, and even touring musicians performing worldwide with Rihanna.
