COVID-19 Update

We are open and accepting hotel and restaurant guests, private events and tours of the property using every precaution to ensure safety.

As health and safety guidelines continue to be refined by our local government, Stroudsmoor Country Inn will be adjusting accordingly. Our first priority is the safety and wellness of our loyal patrons and our staff. We will remain open and in compliance with Governor Wolf’s new protocols, including but not limited to the following:

  • Following the enhanced guidelines from the American Hotel & Lodging Association as well as the US CDC
  • Enforcing strict policies / procedures to protect our guests and staff members
  • Guests and staff are required to wear face coverings indoors at all times
  • Practice social distancing throughout the Resort
  • Hand sanitizers located in public areas
  • Upgraded deep cleaning housekeeping procedures with extra attention paid to high guest touch point locations
  • Reduced in-room contact by housekeeping staff to ensure your accommodation is a safe haven while staying at the Inn – fresh towels dropped off each morning as well as any requested room amenities
  • Pool / Gym areas regularly sanitized
  • Limited Spa services
  • Indoor Restaurant seating reduced to government guidelines
  • Reservations are strongly encouraged for indoor and outdoor dining at the restaurant – we also offer take-out meals for dining in our hotel accommodations and curbside pickup for dining at home, please call (570) 421-6431, Ext. 409 to discuss your needs

Private Events

Safety during the execution of private events, including weddings, is of the utmost importance. To ensure the safety of our guests and our staff, we have implemented the following in addition to the precautions listed above:

  • Elaborate tenting has been installed at each of the event venues to allow for outdoor dining
  • Venues are maintained before and after each event to ensure proper sanitizing
  • Outdoor space is enhanced to include dance area, bar service and comfortable guest seating
  • Event planning and execution staff monitors the use of masks and proper social distancing during each event – ensuring guests and staff are in compliance
  • Restrooms and common areas are sanitized regularly during event execution
  • Food service has been adjusted to ensure minimal equipment and staff contact
  • Landscaping has been added or adjusted to focus on the positive effects of being outdoors
