25th Annual Stroudsmoor Tree Lighting Celebrations – Sunday, December 8, 2013

Stroudsmoor Country inn invites guests from throughout the community and across the nation to join them for the holidays as they celebrate the lighting of the Stroudsmoor Mountain on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The Tree Lighting Celebration was started with the lighting of a modest 15’ tree for the Innkeeper’s Christmas Celebration and has grown to include an art show, holiday craft boutique, elaborate gingerbread village, a lighting display created with over 150,000 lights highlighted by a 70’ decorated tree. Carriage rides, petting zoo, live nativity and fabulous fireworks are all free for guests to enjoy during the celebration. Each year Stroudsmoor adds something new to the festivities like – “Toyland at Terraview” sponsoring the US Marines “Toys for Tots” Program. Toyland is complete with Santa’s elves collecting and distributing toys to every child bringing a donation for “Toys for Tots”, characters from classic stories and popular books, and a visit from Mrs. Claus herself, who reads holiday favorites to children of all ages.
